LOGO

Graphic Design Portfolio

The works below represent my style in school and personal works, curated to show off the direct, genuine, minimalist approach I bring to all my projects.

Upper Crust is a bakery that prides themselves on using local products. Needing a new logo to reflect their business, using only their name and a single symbol. I chose a croissant image, brown color palette, and a script font that reflected their fresh and homemade goods with recipes passed down through generations.

TOWN is a high-end Asian restaurant wanting to bring quality and style to their guests. They wanted to develop their brand to cater to high-end clientele that values a dining experience and would visit for dinner and personal events. With this in mind, I created a menu and brochure that reflected their chosen aesthetic and values.

TOWN needed a website that reflected their high-end, upscale vision and mission statement for their clients and was cohesive with their other brand materials. Aimed towards an easy user experience, the website shows TOWN’s sophistication in a minimalist style that best reflects their brand.

The subject of this portrait is Neil Gaiman, renowned fantasy and sci-fi author. He has many credits in publishing, entertainment, and more. This portrait honors these achievements and the people he has worked with along the way.

Amethyst Bay Resort & Spa needed a full-page magazine ad to advertise their services. I chose to advertise private cabanas, imagining the resort as a Caribbean island getaway where customers can relax and enjoy the island climate in their own isolated, quiet escape.

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I host an annual party that centers around a theme established each year by the invitation. In 2023, I wanted to create something with skulls as the main image.

In anticipation of completing my graphic design degree from Southern New Hampshire University in the fall of 2024, I created an announcement that I could send to friends and family. I wanted to convey the celebration of the event in my unique style but still call back to traditional graduation announcements.

The founder and owner of my architectural firm, Charles “Chuck” Matsinger, was retiring after decades in the industry. In the process of planning the party, our firm needed an invitation that could be sent out to Chuck’s friends and colleagues. This invitation was never used (we opted instead for an online invite). The event board was set up at the front of the restaurant to let attendees know they were in the right place. I wanted this to be cohesive with the other materials used for Chuck’s event, reflecting his longevity in the business and his history with the city.

The event materials for Chuck Matsinger's party were moved to an online format. All materials were made cohesive with a clear theme but could also be used on their own. The event page banner would be used on the invite home screen with all the information for the event. As part of this transition in our company, an announcement was created to include on the homepage of our website and as part of a newsletter. The focus would be on Chuck and the transition, with a personal note and basic information on the retirement and transition.

As part of one of my first GRA classes at SNHU, we created a logo that reflected our backgrounds, careers, and could be used as part of the rest of the course. This logo was created considering my background in architecture, my skills in various softwares, and my personal desire to move forward with latest technology in architecture and design.
